Ingredients
- 1/2 to 1 head cabbage, shredded, or 1 pkg.
- coleslaw mix
- 1 large onion, sliced thin and cut in crescents
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup olive oil, or more for frying
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2-3 Tbsp. Plum Duck Sauce
Directions
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp, remove from skillet and crumble. Set aside.
- In same skillet, add olive oil to bacon drippings to cover bottom of pan. Put shredded cabbage and onions in skillet over medium heat. Stir frequently until cabbage is reduced , but still crisp.
- Add balsamic vinegar and stir to coat and reduce heat to low stirring occasionally. just before serving, add duck sauce, and stir well, then bring heat back to medium until heated through. Serve hot as side dish.
