Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke, optional
  • 2 lb. boneless country-style pork ribs

Directions

  1. In a large resealable plastic freezer bag, combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, seasoned salt and, if desired, liquid smoke. Add the country-style pork ribs; seal the bag and freeze.

  2. To use, place filled freezer bag in refrigerator 48 hours or until completely thawed. Transfer contents of bag to a 3 quart slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low 5-6 hours or until meat is tender.

  3. Remove the ribs to a serving platter. Skim the fat from cooking liquid to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook 12-15 minutes or until sauce is reduced to 1 1/2 cups. Serve with ribs.
