Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 egg white or 1 whole egg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- dash nutmeg
- 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs (1 slice)
- 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
Directions
- Sauté onion, garlic and celery in oil in medium hot skillet until soft. Remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the turkey, egg, salt, pepper, nutmeg, bread crumbs and parsley. Add sautéed vegetables and mix well. Put the mixture in a lightly greased loaf pan and set the pan in a large shallow baking dish. Fill baking dish with boiling water, to depth of one inch. Bake at 375 degrees for

11/4 hours. Remove the loaf pan from the outer pan and the oven. let stand for 15 minutes before slicing.
