Jimmy Dean Sausage Stuffing

Ingredients
- 1 16 oz. pkg. jimmy Dean Premium pork
- sausage
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 4 cups cornbread, toasted and chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped (opt.)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cook sausage, celery and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat 8-10 min. or until sausage is thoroughly cooked; drain. Spoon into large bowl.

Add cornbread, parsley and seasoning, mix lightly. Add in broth, egg and mix until blended. Stir in pecans.

Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole or soufflé dish; cover and bake 45 minutes or until thoroughly heated, uncovered after 35 minutes.

To toast cornbread, bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
