Ingredients
- 6 T butter
- 5 T flour
- 3 c broth
- 2-3 c cream
- 8 ounces Parmesan
- one head broccoli
- salt, pepper and other spices to taste
Directions

Make a roux: Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Whisk in the flour and continue whisking and cook for 3 minutes or so. You may need to turn it down so it doesn’t burn.

Whisk in the broth and cream, and keep stirring as it thickens.

Stir in a handful of the cheese, and then the broccoli.

Add other seasoning and heat through.
