Rotini Beany

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. rotini pasta
  • 1 chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 (26 oz.) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (rinsed)
  • 1 (5 oz.) pkg. baby spinach leaves
  • shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Cook rotini pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large microwavable bowl, microwave the bell pepper for 4 minutes or until softened; drain.
  3. Add marinara sauce and kidney beans. Microwave 6 to 8 minutes on high or until hot. Add baby spinach; microwave 3 minutes.
  4. Add cooked pasta; mix well and serve.
