Toffee Blondies

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup toffee chips

heat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 13 × 9 × 2 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.

Beat butter with both sugars in bowl until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla, then flour mixture. Fold in 1/4 cup pecans and toffee chips. Pour in pan. Sprinkle with remaining chopped pecans.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack. Cut into blondies.
