Tres Leches Cake

I like this because it starts with a cake mix and is really good.

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 eggs
- -
- Topping:
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1 cup whipping cream
- Optional either 1/2 teaspoon rum flavor or 1/2 teaspoon orange flavor

- Icing:
- 1 container cool whip (I use sugar free.)
- -
- Garnish: I finely grated chocolate and sprinkled over, also sprinkled lightly with cinnamon. Should be served with a couple fresh strawberries cut and arranged on top. OR FRUIT SALSA!

- Fruit Salsa:
- 1 pound Fresh strawberries (diced)
- 1 pint blueberries
- 1 can mandarin oranges (strained and minced)
- 2-3 apples (one golden delicious, one apple with red skin) wash, core, leave skins on. (finely diced
- 3-4 cups of grapes (combination of red and green) cut in half or quartered
Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 × 9 inch pan.

Mix together ingredients for cake as listed above. Stir according to cake box instructions.

Pour into pan. Bake as directed on box for 13 × 9 pan.

When cake is done, remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes. Do not flip out of pan. Poke cake all over with 2-tined fork.

Topping:

Mix together all three milks and flavoring just using a spoon, not mixer.

Slowly pour mixture evenly over top of cake

Cover and chill for at least 2 hours or over night.

Icing:

Spread cool whip over top. Garnish with grated chocolate and cinnamon.

Garnish with strawberries when serving. OR…

Fruit Salsa: Combine all fruits and place a spoon full of Fruit Salsa on each piece as you serve!
