Coconut Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 8 oz. carton sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut

Directions

  1. Cream sugar and butter together. Add 1 egg at a time. Add flour, salt baking soda and sour cream, beat well. Add vanilla, and fold in coconut. Bake in well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
