Turkey legs

This is intended to be for wild turkey, but can be used on raw farm-raised turkey or other game birds.

Ingredients
- 2 liters lemon-lime soda
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 5-7 lbs. turkey legs
Directions
- Combine soda, orange juice, soy sauce and brown sugar. Let turkey legs sit in marinade in refrigerator at least three days.
- Heat smoker to 250 degrees. Cook legs about 3 hours, turning each hour. Cook to an . internal temperature of 180 degrees.
- Allow legs to relax up to 30 minutes before serving – or allow them to chill, then reheat, to redistribute and intensify flavor.
