Ingredients
- 8 cups sugar
- 6 cups water
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 4 lb. crab apples
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 1 stick cinnamon
Directions
- Combine sugar, water and lemon juice and heat to boiling. Wash apples, cut into quarters and remove stems and cores. Add to syrup with spices tied in a bag. Cook until clear and tender. Remove spices and pour apples into clean hot jars and seal.
