Cranberry Conserve

Ingredients

  • 6 oranges
  • 1 quart cranberries
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded pineapple
  • 1 lb. raisins
  • 1 lb. dried currants
  • sugar
  • 1 cup oiling water
  • 1/2 lb. almonds, blanched

Directions

  1. Peel oranges and cut into pieces. Wash cranberries. Combine fruits and weigh. Add an equal weight of sugar.
  2. Add boiling water and weigh. Add an equal weight of sugar.
  3. Add boiling water and cook rapidly until thick. Add almonds, pour into clean hot glasses and seal.
  4. makes 8 (6oz.) glasses
