Currant Conserve

Ingredients

  • 2 oranges
  • 5 pints currants
  • 7 cups sugar
  • 1 cup broken walnuts

Directions

  1. Combine grated rind and juice of oranges with currants and sugar and cook until thick. Add nuts, pour into clean hot glasses and seal with paraffin.
  2. makes 10 (6 oz.) glasses
