Ingredients
- 3 oranges
- 1 lemon
- 2 cups drained crushed pineapple
- 6 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 (6oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
Directions
- Wash oranges and lemon; cut in half crosswise. Remove seeds and membrane in center of each. Cut fruit into quarters; grind unpeeled fruit in meat grinder of food processor.
- Combine ground fruit, pineapple, sugar, and water in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and boil 30 minutes, stirring often. Remove form heat; stir in cherries. Pour into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Cover at once with metal lids, and screw bands tight. Process in boiling-water bath 10 minutes.
