Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, crushed
- 3 medium pears, peeled, cored and chopped (2 cups)
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1 5/8 oz, pkg. (2 envelopes)low-calorie strawberry-flavored gelatin
- Liquid artificial sweetener to equal 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
- In medium saucepan, combine strawberries, pears, water and lemon juice. Cook and stir until mixture comes to boiling.

Stir in gelatin. Return mixture to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil hard, uncovered, for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in artificial sweetener. Pour into hot, sterilized half-pint jars or glasses; seal. Store in the refrigerator up to 6 weeks or in freezer for as long as 1 year.
