Ingredients
- 1 quart fully ripe strawberries, washed and hulled
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 pkg. (1 34 oz.) powdered pectin
- 3/4 cup water
Directions
- Crush strawberries, one layer at a time, in a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Mix pectin and water in small saucepan.
- Bring to boiling; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly Stir into strawberry mixture. Continue stirring 3 minutes (a few sugar crystals will remain).
- Ladle quickly into hot, sterilized glasses. Cover at once with tight fitting lid. Let stand at room temperature until set. Refrigerate.
