Categories: Breadmaker
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 Tbl. oil (I used canola oil)
- 1 1/2 cup chopped rhubarb
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 cups flour
- 1 Tbl. Sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. active dry yeast
Directions
-
Start 3 hours 30 minutes in advance!
-
Add all ingredients into breadmaker in order given, making a small well in the ingredients before adding the yeast.
-
Only use the breadmaker to knead the dough (at least our breadmaker – it’s too much dough to hold after it rises – would be different in larger machine).
-
Once through knead cycle (about 30 minutes), remove and put lightly greased bowl, cover with kitchen towel, and place in warmer area to rise. Let rise for 40 minutes.
-
Punch down for 25 seconds. Let rise again for another 55 minutes.
-
Put into greased bread pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes, depending on how browned you want it.
-
Remove from pan and let cool for 15 minutes.
