Peach-And-Grapefruit Conserve

Ingredients
- 8 cups, diced peaches
- 3 medium grapefruit, peeled and diced
- Grated rind of 1 orange
- 6 cups sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 cup chopped almonds
Directions
- Combine peaches, grapefruit, orange rind, sugar and lemon juice in a large heavy saucepan. Mix well.
- Bring to boil. Boil rapidly for 5 minutes. Add almonds. Mix well. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes longer, or until mixture is thickened. Pour into hot sterilized jars at once, and seal with hot lids and rings.
