Pear Honey

Ingredients

  • 4 lb. pears (about 10 large), ground or finely chopped
  • 6 to 8 lbs. sugar
  • 1 (1 pint) can crushed pineapple

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, mix ground pears, sugar and pineapple and cook for about 20 minutes until thick. Pour hot mixture into sterilized pint jars and seal.
  2. makes 10 to 12 pints
