Ingredients
- 3 lbs. ripe pears (about 9 cups sliced)
- 1 cup canned crushed pineapple, drained
- Grated rind and juice of 1 fresh lime
- 5 cups sugar
Directions
- Wash, pare, core and slice pears. Force through food chopper, using fine blade.
- Combine pears and pineapple. Add lime rind and juice, then add sugar and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, 20 minutes, or until thick.
- Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
