Ingredients
- 6 ripe medium pears
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1 3/4-oz. pkg. powdered fruit pectin
- 3 1/4 cups sugar
Directions
- Peel, core and mash pears; measure 1 14 cups. Mash raspberries.
- In large kettle or Dutch oven combine fruits and lemon juice. Stir in powdered fruit pectin.
- Bring to full rolling boil. Stir in sugar.
- Return to full rolling boil; boil hard, uncovered, for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir for 5 minutes, skimming foam from surface with large metal spoon. Pour into hot, sterilized half-pint jars or glasses; seal.
