Ingredients
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 3 Tbsp. sage
- 3 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups sweet apple cider
- Yellow Food coloring
- 1/2 cup liquid pectin
Directions
- Combine boiling water and sage, cover and let stand 15 minutes. Strain through fine cheesecloth and add water to make 1/2 cup.
- Add sugar and cider and heat to boiling. Add enough coloring to tint a light yellow. Add pectin, stirring constantly. Boil hard 1 minute.
- Remove from heat, skim and pour into clean hot glasses. Seal, and process in hot water bath 10 minutes.
- Serve with pork or poultry.
