Ingredients
- 4 quarts fresh strawberries
- 2 large oranges
- 1 can (1 lb.) crushed pineapple
- 9 cups sugar
- 1 cups coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions
- Wash, hull and crush strawberries. Set aside.
- Carefully remove peel and white membrane from oranges. Section and chop oranges very fine. Set aside.
- Combine crushed pineapple, sugar, and crushed strawberries in a large heavy saucepan. Mix until well blended. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. and continue boiling for 20 minutes.
- Add walnuts. Mix well. Boil for 5 minutes longer. Remove from heat, stirring frequently and spoon immediately into hot, sterilized jars. Seal, and process in boiling water canner.
