Tomato and Apple Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 cups tomato pulp
  • 2 cups apple pulp
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 orange

Directions

  1. Cook tomatoes and apples until tender and rub through a sieve.
  2. Measure pulps and combine with sugar and juice and rind of orange. Cook until thick, stirring frequently. Pour into clean hot jars and seal.
  3. makes 3 (8oz.) jars
