Ingredients
- 5 lbs. tomatoes
- 1 cup vinegar
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 small stick cinnamon
- 1/4 oz. ginger root
- 1/2 Tbsp. whole cloves
Directions
- Peel and slice tomatoes. Add vinegar and sugar. Tie spices in a bag and add. Cook until thick, stirring almost constantly to prevent scorching. Remove spices. Pour into clean hot jars and seal.
