Ingredients
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 12-16 oz. caramels
- 1 C. chocolate chips
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 cube margarine or butter

Mix cake mix (dry, melted butter and 1/3 C. canned milk. Pat ½ oz. butter in bottom of 9 × 13 in cake pan.

Bake in 350 degrees for 6 min. Melt caramels and 1/3 C. of milk. Pour caramels on top of cake mixture. Drop remaining cake batter in ½ inches pieces on top of caramels. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Cook 15 minutes 350 degree oven. Do not overbake.
