Autumn harvest Relish

good with lamb curry

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups coarsely chopped, firm ripe pared pears (2 to 3 Anjou, Bosc or Comice)
- 1 cup golden seedless raisins
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup quartered maraschino cherries
- 1 cup mild flavored honey
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Dash cayenne pepper or Tabasco sauce
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, until covered, 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve warm or chilled with poultry, ham or pork.
