Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 lb. chicken livers
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. brandy
Directions
- Heat 1/4 cup butter in skillet, add onion and cook until softened. Add chicken livers and cook about 3 minutes on each side, just until pink in center.
- Place contents of skillet in blender container; add remaining 1/4 cup butter, seasonings and brandy. Whirl until smooth. Refrigerate until firm.
