Ingredients
- 12 medium- sized cucumbers
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 pint vinegar
- 6 onions
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
Directions
- Slice cucumbers and onions about 1/4-inch thick. Sprinkle with salt. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes. heat vinegar and other ingredients. Drain, then drop cucumbers and onions into warm vinegar mixture. Let boil 5 minutes only. Pack into sterilized pint jars and seal.
