Ingredients
- 1 quart diced celery
- 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 red pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
Directions
- Combine celery and peppers in a large saucepan. Cover with water. Bring to boiling; remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients.
- Bring to boiling; reduce heat; simmer 5-7 minutes or until celery is just tender. Pack into sterilized jars. Seal.
