Ingredients
- 1 lb. onions
- 4 lbs. cranberries
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 cups vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. ground cloves
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. allspice
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
Directions
- Peel onions and chop very fine. Place in a large saucepot. Add cranberries and water and cook until tender. Rub through a sieve. Add remaining ingredients and boil until thick, stirring occasionally. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
