Ingredients
- 3 lbs. firm ripe Bartlett pears
- 1 Lb. plums, pitted and cut up
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- 1 can (21 oz.) peach pie filling
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 tsp. pure granulated salt
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar

Directions
- Half, core and dice pears and measure 9 cups. Put in kettle with remaining ingredients. Bring to simmering point and simmer gently, uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour. Pour into 10 hot sterilized 1/2 pint jars and seal. Process in water bath 5 minutes.
