Ingredients
- 3 medium firm ripe pears
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 cup red seedless grapes, cut in half
- 2 Tbsps. Dijon-style mustard
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
Directions
- Peel pears, core and cut into 1/2 inch pieces, toss with lemon juice. Add grapes, honey and mustard; mix well and set aside.
- heat oil in frying pan; add chopped onion and cook until wilted. Add raisins, mustard seed and allspice; stir until raisins are plump, about 5 minutes. Mix gently with fruit.
- Serve ware or at room temperature, or cover and chill overnight.
