Ingredients
- 3 cups chopped, seeded green tomatoes
- 3 cups chopped cabbage (1/2 head)
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 red pepper, seeded and chopped
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Combine vegetables in large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and toss. Cover; let stand overnight. Drain. Combine vegetables and remaining ingredients in large saucepan. Heat to boiling. Simmer 5 minutes. Pack into sterilized jar. Seal.
