Tomato- Raisin Relish

Ingredients
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) tomatoes
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 2 cups diced apples
Directions
- In 3 quart saucepan, combine all ingredients except apples. Break up tomatoes with wooden spoon.
- Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed. Stir in apples. Keeps refrigerated up to 3 weeks.
