Ingredients
- 1 lb. tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1 lb. firm pears, peeled and chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 small pimiento, chopped
Directions
- Mix all ingredients, except pimiento. Simmer, stirring frequently, about 1 hour. Add pimiento, pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. Process in water bath 5 minutes.
