Red-and- Ready Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (16 oz.) dry spaghetti, uncooked
  • 2 cans (15 oz. each) Hunt's tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. dehydrated minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

  1. Cook spaghetti as directed on package.
  2. Beat tomato sauce, sugar, oil, onion, oregano and garlic powder in medium saucepan with wire whisk until well blended while spaghetti is cooking.
  3. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Drain spaghetti; place on serving platter. Top with the sauce.
