Ingredients
- 5 lb. plums
- 3 lbs. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 pint vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp. whole cloves
- 1/2 Tbsp. whole allspice
Directions
- Wash plums and prick with a fork or large needle. Boil remaining ingredients together 5 minutes. Pour boiling syrup over plums. Let stand 3 days, then lift out plums, boil down syrup until quite thick, add plums and het to boiling. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
