Ingredients
- 4 quarts currants
- 2 lbs. sugar
- 1 pint vinegar
- 1 tsp. whole allspice
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions
- Wash and stem fruit. Combine sugar, vinegar and spices and boil 5 minutes. Add fruit and cook until the mixture is thick and clear. Seal in sterilized, hot jars.
