“Healthy” Banana COokies

Serves 8 people
Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups quick-cook oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter, very soft
- 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup craizins
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

Mix everything together. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Cook in a preheated oven at 350 for about 15 minutes, or until slightly tanned and bottom is crisping. Makes about 16 cookies.
