Serves 4 people
Ingredients
- 200 grams feta cheese
- 1/4 cup cream
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
Directions
-
Put the box or container of feta cheese in a bowl of warm water to soften the cheese for 20 – 30 mins.
-
Once the cheese is softened put it into a bowl and add the cream.
-
Using a fork, whisk the two into a smooth paste.
-
In a separate bowl place all the other ingredients and mix well.
-
Let it sit for 5 – 10 minutes for all of the flavors to combine.
-
Then add this mix to the feta cheese and combine thoroughly.
-
Place the dip in the fridge for later.
-
Make sure you take it out of the fridge and whip it well using a fork to make sure the dip is fluffy and creamy.
-
Serve with pita chips. Or veggies.
