Ingredients
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 8 teaspoons paprika
- 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 3 pounds chicken pieces (skin on)
Directions
-
TIP: Purchase sesame seeds at either a Mexican or Oriental market…lots cheaper. Also I usually make more breading than I need as I will freeze any left overs in a zip lock bag.
-
Combine egg and milk
-
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and paprika. Mix sesame seeds with dry ingredients.
-
Melt butter in baking dish.
-
Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then in dry mixture, coating thoroughly.
-
Place skin side down in single layer, in melted butter in baking dish.
-
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn and baste with drippings.
-
Continue baking 30 minutes or until tender.
