Garlic Spaghetti
(from Coker Family’s recipe box)
This would go great with any Italian dish as a side. Stuffed Zucchini, Chicken Parmesan, etc.

Ingredients
- Thin spaghetti pasta
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1-2 fresh minced basil leaves (optional)
Directions
-
Cook desired amount of thin spaghetti in salted water with a little olive oil added to water, maybe 2 tablespoons.
-
While pasta is cooking… Heat olive oil in a small pan, be careful and don’t over-heat. Stir in minced garlic and optional basil. If your oil is too hot the garlic will burn and become very bitter, but you don’t want the garlic raw either.
-
Drain cooked pasta.
-
Pour olive oil and garlic over pasta…serve as a side. If you have some extra spaghetti or marinara sauce you can offer on the side to spoon over pasta.
