Ingredients
- 1 qt. sauerkraut, drained
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups diced celery
- 1 large green pepper, diced
- 1 large sweet red pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 cups sugar
Directions
- If desired, snip sauerkraut with kitchen scissors. Mix with remaining ingredients and chill, covered, at least 4 hours before serving. Serve as relish with cold meats. Keeps at least 1 week; flavor improves on standing.
