Indoor S’Mores

Original recipe from when the Golden Grahams cereal first came out.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup light Karo
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 10 ounce box Golden Grahams cereal
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 11 1/2 ounce package milk chocolate morsels

Directions

  1. Butter baking pan, 13×9×2 inch.

  2. Heat Karo syrup, margarine and chocolate morsels to boiling in 3 qt. sauce pan, stirring constantly; remove from heat.

  3. Stir in vanilla.

  4. Pour over cereal in large mixing bowl; toss quickly until completely coated with chocolate.

  5. Fold in marshmallows, 1 cup at a time.

  6. Press mixture evenly in pan with buttered back of spoon.

  7. Let stand until firm, at least 1 hour. Cut into about 1 1/2 inch squares.
