Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• whipping cream

Directions

1. Cream butter and sugar, beat in egg. Add remaining ingredients. Mix and chill for several hours. Cut in large rounds about the size of a drinking glass. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned. Sprinkle top with sugar while warm. Place sweetened berries on each round. Top with whipped cream.
