Pickled Pig Feet

Ingredients

  • 4 split pig's feet
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 2 medium-size onions, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. peppercorns
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a kettle; simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until meat starts to fall from bones. Chill in liquid before serving.
