Ingredients
- 4 lbs. ripe tomatoes
- 1 lb. apples, chopped
- 3 onions, chopped fine
- 1 pint vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup seeded raisins
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 tsp. ground mustard
- 1 tsp. cayenne
- 2 cloves garlic, crusted
Directions
- Chop tomatoes and add apples and onions. Add the remaining ingredients and cook until chutney is thick and clear, stirring occasionally.
- Seal it in hot sterilized jars.
