Grilled Pear Tomato Relish

Ingredients
- 2 cups red and yellow miniature tomatoes, such as currants, grape or cherry
- 2 tsp. olive oil or cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp. packed brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves, ginger or nutmeg
Directions
- In a medium bowl combine all ingredients. Toss gently to mix thoroughly without breaking skins of tomatoes.
- Heat a grill-top frying pan on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium-hot coals or medium-hot gas burner about 5 minutes or until hot. Add tomato mixture to pan, cook and stir for 3 to 5 minutes or until skins begin to pop and tomatoes are softened and heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve over grilled steak, pork chops, shrimp or salmon.
