Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 2 slightly green-tipped large bananas, in diagonal slices 1/4 inch thick
Directions
- Put first 5 ingredients in a skillet or medium heat and mix well. Add banana slices and brown lightly on both sides. Add 1/3 cup water, cover and simmer 3 to 5 minutes. Relish should be juicy but not mushy and banana slices should retain their shape. Serve cold with meats.
